Payment provider requires that you provide your credit card details to process the transaction. This is done on a secure server using SSL (secure sockets layer). As you go through the transaction process we let you know when you are about to be transferred to external payment provider's servers for the secure transaction. After the transaction has been authorized you are returned to our site. OsCommerce For You does not have any access to these credit card details and they are not stored or processed in any way by OsCommerce For You. Our Disclosure of Your Information Unfortunately, due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Security In order to process and protect your credit card details, the payment provider uses SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption. The secure server is hosted by payment provider and not osCommerce For You.We use the best endeavor to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal identifiable information but we do not use encryption (such as SSL) or firewalls to further protect the information as it travels across the Internet. This is because we do not believe that, apart from the credit card information processed by payment provider, the personal information we currently collect warrants such measures and the accompanying loss of speed experienced. You should be aware that "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet. Changes to Privacy Policy If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via email, prior to making such changes. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner.
